Ever wonder what to buy that bookish friend in your life? While many may automatically think of getting them a book, often times readers are particular about their reads, so make sure that you know they would like by researching their favorite author or their To Be Read list. If you want something away from the ordinary, try these options:

A mug and some bookish hot drinks:

- Riddle Tea Shoppe has flavors inspired by Doctor Who, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. They also sell enamel pins, bookmarks and Mugs.

- Literary Tea Co.'s flavors are inspired by all the greats including C.S. Lewis, the Bronte sisters, and Earnest Hemingway. They also sell tea related items such as bottles and strainers.

A literary themed candle:

- In the Wick of Time will transport you to the set of Gilmore Girls, the court of the Court of Thorns and Roses and even Sally Jackson's kitchen as she makes blue chocolate chip cookies for Percy. This company also makes wax melts and bookmarks.

- Wicks and Fable's candles can make any room smell like the common rooms for your favorite Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Slytherin. You can find general bookish smells and tv shows here also.

Art prints- these are usually sold as tapestries, cards, bookmarks, pins, stickers and more:

- Risa Rodil's art is colorful and bold.

- Susanne Draws' art is soft and sweet.

- Eviebookish's art is whimsical and bright.

Socks:

- Out of Print has socks and tees of anything you could imagine.

A reader's journal:

- BookRiot's suggestions of some of the best kind to get.
